Digital Advertising beats TV (in 2009)

Hold on to your hats….not only has Google’s revenue overtaken ITV’s, but a report from WPP division Group M has concluded that revenues from digital advertising will overtake TV in the UK by 2009. The report claimed that internet ad spend will jump by more than 30% to £3.4b in the next 12 months. Meanwhile TV advertising will grow by less than 1% in the same period.
